Have I got that wrong?
I would not want deluxe dining plan for two weeks, but it was great for five days. We did a signature every night and a couple we booked on the day, so we’re not too locked in. As OP has chosen a lot of signatures it seems like it might be a good idea for them.

We had two meals a day either a breakfast or early lunch and then signature dinner. I don’t find two meals a day too much food, I think it is normal amount of food. We generally don’t look to maximise the value of the plan, i.e. we don’t take three courses just because that is the entitlement.

Here is my food report if you are interested, the Disney part starts on page 16.

Thanks Claudette, judging by your experience, I think it makes sense to upgrade.

Thank you for all the comments and ideas - especially yours Claudette.

Ive played around with the numbers and the Deluxe Plan gives us too much for what we need - especially as we have Bluezoo and V&A in our ADR's - and so whilst the standard plan is a little under what we need it make sense to simply pay OOP for any difference.

With staying at the GF too in the Club area we also benefit from using the lounge so I think we will have more than enough food! Hehehehe!

I know some people complain about booking 180 days out but I really like how it gets you in the holiday feel and you start thinking about what you fancy doing - and the Dibb continues to be full of great help and insight - loved your report Claudette
