I’m still in shock over only needing to pee twice a day (which isn’t good)... I’m the opposite and probably go at least 10 times and a couple at night, I do take meds for it and caffeine makes it worse, even an op (with a mesh implanted) only worked for a couple of years...
But please you need to be drinking at least 8-10 glasses of fluid a day... and that lack of fluid could certainly not be helping the problem...

I’m beginning to wonder if part of my problem is that my nerves no longer tell my brain that my bladder is full, I think perhaps it could be a good idea for me to get into a drinking/toilet routine. And maybe just go, even if i don’t feel like a really need to?

I’d start by upping your fluid intake dramatically, make sure you drink something every hour... then you’re likely to need the loo more often... if you haven’t still got the urge then make sure you go every few hours or so...

I had the same procedure - exactly the same outcome. I think drinking such a large amount of water and then having the examination then being told to pee it out you feel under pressure and you cannot get rid of it all. I could feel my bladder was full but just couldn't empty it totally. I never have this problem at home and I drink only water and a lot of it...

Does anyone know if someone living in Scotland can be referred to a hospital in England?

OP did you ever get to the bottom of what is causing your pain?

I am going for another pelvic scan next week as my pains have been worse, doctor did an internal and said she felt "fullness" whatever that means...
