I will be there those dates so if you decided to go for the Magic Flex pass or higher I can sponsor all 3 of you so you'll get 10% Discount on the passes.
If you go for the Discovery pass ordering by post, you can upgrade it at any time, you pay the difference between the 2 passes but the expiry date stays the same. One other thing to consider is if you want Extra Magic Time, this is only on the higher 2 passes. The prices at the moment are valid until 1st April, so there may be a price increase after this but I've not heard anything yet. The blackout dates won't be out until later in the year for 2020

That's great debs . I think at the moment we will just go for the cheapest band and possibly upgrade if we decide we can do another trip next Feb or April, but really appreciate your offer
If we leave until late April to send the AP form off, ( to enable us to use next April) is there any risk that the New APs after 1 April of this year might actually have different 2019 blackout dates to the current APs ? Or that there might be a rethink on passes and the cheap pass done away with ? Also, I see they say allow 25 working days ( 5 weeks) to process a postal AP application ? Is this just to cover their backsides ? Do they really take that long do you know - don't want to to risk sending off say 20th April and not having it back by 15th June with postal delivery times - unlikely I know but still...

The blackout dates will be similar to this year, so the date will change depending on when Easter is. I'd imagine they'll keep the cheapest pass as it's mainly aimed at the locals.
They usually send them fairly quickly within about 2 weeks, although I posted a renewal 2 weeks ago today and I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

Good news Deb . I presume they just date them from when they receive them ? Ie you can’t ask them to forward date them ?
Also the form talks about front and back of ID - what does this mean ? I presume the obvious ID is a passport - my DD and DS don’t have any other photo ID but what does front and back of passport mean in reality ?

There is another thread on here, someone asked if they could forward date them and they did. I think they'd do it if it's only a week or so.
I just photocopied the photo page of the passport. I think maybe both sides would be if you had an ID card of some sort?
