Dr J. I see that VA contacted you for meal choices on the way out. Did that also apply for the return trip please?

Secondly how far in advance were you contacted? We fly March 2nd but nothing yet.

Our selection this trip was outbound only with the email coming about 72 hrs before departure.

Someone who I believe is staff at VS has posted on V-flyer that inbound UC and Premium will also be offered this 'soon'.

Many thanks for that. Interesting if PE is included as well.

In case anyone is debating TIW v DVC/AP discount I've totalled my savings this trip

Food & non alcohol $244 Alcohol $145 Total saving $389

Would have been $135 approx with 10% AP/DVC

This is also my 3rd 2 week trip using this card so it's easily paid for itself and put me on the right side of the calculation.

Dr JJ, only just seen this so have binge read this morning! Great report, thanks.

We tried Fords Garage down in Cape Coral a couple of years ago and loved it. Pleased to see they've now opened in Orlando so will be getting a visit this summer. Good burgers and a great choice of beer.

Fantastic report again, so many great looking meals. Interesting to see some different places too.

Thanks for sharing.

Just stumbled across this. Great food pics and as we don’t eat off site much really interesting to see some of you off site choices. As for the Disney signature restaurants though. Whilst some of it looked really good I have to say their prices have gone off the scale. I have got that even on a ‘free’ dining plan I object when the tip could pay for your whole meal elsewhere. Hope you enjoyed it though. Looks like a fantastically luxurious trip.

Loved your posts and the escape plus lounge looks ok. I’ve not used it since it’s been overhauled due to flying from different terminals and other airports. Looking forward to our try at it in September. I’m also glad to see your report from the Kitchen as had thought about it for our first night at Universal. I think I’ll look at another restaurant.
