From Disney :
Mermaid School is an amazing new experience happening at Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

Guests ages 4 and older can enjoy an hour-long class where they’ll be fitted with a swimmable “tail” and led through activities teaching them how to swim in a pool like a mermaid. Mermaid School will be offered on select dates at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Bookings will open mid-March through 407-WDW-PLAY.
That sounds fab, I love the look of AOA. And would love to go to a Disney wedding out there 🙂 mermaid school sounds good, but I think my daughter is a bit old for it, I’d like it though 😂

I have just seen CBR is available again, loves2plan what was better about the 5 th sleeper bed arrangement there? Also is anyone else staying there concerned with the Riviera resort work still going on? 🙂

There's a unit at each end which helps to act as a headboard. At POR there isn't anything and my daughter's pillow kept falling off. In the end we had to use a chair up against it to act as the headboard. Not a big deal, but it was just a bit easier.

I'm not worried about Riviera work at all. It's coming along quickly and will be on internal work by the time we go. Even people who have been recently have said it's not an issue. The odd beeping from construction vehicles is mainly coming from the Skyliner station construction, which will also hopefully be finished and up and running by the time we go.

So, I've been a busy bee today as I've booked a night at Wilderness Lodge by renting DVC points from a lovely dibber, and then a night at Cabana Bay courtesy of Tesco Clubcard vouchers, so it's only cost me £28 Just waiting for the HHN single night tickets and RIP tours to go on sale, so I can book them for DH and DD for our Cabana Bay night, whilst DS and I will relax at the hotel, use the pool, explore City Walk and maybe have a game of crazy golf.

So, we've got 14 nights at CBR with the qsdp, and during that time we're also spending 1 night at BC (for DS who's always wanted to stay there because of the lazy river), 1 night at WL (for DD who fell in love with it when we visited once) and 1 night at Cabana Bay for the HHN. We're not visiting US this time as no one is really that bothered and it's an expensive add on, so I've booked Cabana Bay for the DS to use the lazy river - I swear he's half fish!

We won't be going back for a few years as have Japan planned for our next visit, so looking forward to trying out a couple of resorts that are normally way out of our budget

We loved cabana bay on our last visit.

I'm keeping an eye on good prices on one night in a deluxe as it's our last trip before dd1 will be off to uni. Would love to find a good deal at BC, Poly, AKL or contemporary

Have you thought about renting DVC points? The person I rented from has GF points, but can book all other resorts at 7 months, so was able to get WL for me. They charge £12 per point and have been so lovely and helpful. Our night at WL has cost £180. It's the cheapest way to stay at a deluxe. Here's the link to their points rental post:
