Universal bike lift to and from hotels

I can't remember what this is called but its the one where you just pay a tip to the cyclist. What I am after is some idea of what to pay as I can't find anything to advise, I am always worried that I am going to massively underpay and upset them and they think we are tight or grossly overpay.

An idea of what per head would be great - there are 4 of us 2adults and 2 children.

Thanks

We gave a $10 tip in 2012 from city walk to RPR. Only once we have done it, wouldn’t do it again though.

Yes I am thinking once for the experience, we made do with the free boat and free legs last time.

My daughter wanted to do it in 2017. We asked how much and he gave us an idea of what he was expecting! I think he said between $10 and $20 so we split the difference. Definitely a once only trip though.
