I’ve started looking for flights. Any advice on when Virgin flight sales might be? Direct from Manchester is coming in at £850 in PE. I’ve never paid that much before - so assume my timing must be off and I need to wait for a sale...

Welcome to the group. I can't help with the flights. We always book package, not confident enough to do otherwise. We're flying from Manchester with Virgin. Eventually someone will come with the help you need.
When did you last go? Notice Osborne Lights in your countdown. Finished a while ago. I've never seen them we first went 2013.

Oh I really need to update that footer! I go 2 or 3 times each year - I’ve just not needed to pay cash for flights for a while so got a shock at PE prices!

Hi, can I join the Dec group too?

We recently booked a week in Dec, as we got good flight prices, we’ve also got 2 weeks in July. Can’t wait! 😊

We’ve not been in December since 2008 and we didn’t do universal or any malls, didn’t go to Disney Springs or DtD as it was then, and didn’t look around any Disney hotels! All we did were the 4 Disney parks - ha.

So, Im really looking forward to seeing all the Christmas decorations and hopefully doing mvmcp and a night at universal too.

This will be our 2nd time beginning of December.
Loved it last time apart from crowds
Are you going to be staying onsite?
As you said doing all 4 Disney parks is more than plenty!
We’re also doing one night- at RPR.
I’ve done all the planning/buying I can do for now - at a standstill!
Have you bought any tickets or planned yet?

Thanks. We’re staying at ASMu, haven’t stayed there before, but read some of Ninja’s trip report from when she stayed there and think it looks good.

We also want to book 1 night at Universal, we’ve stayed at Cabana Bay & RPR, but wouldn’t mind trying Hard Rock this year.

We’re hoping to upgrade our 14 day Disney tickets to AP’s when we go in July if AP’s Dont have another price increase before then.😬

Oh & maybe mvmcp, I’m not sure yet though as saw some photos posted by someone that was there in December 2018 & it looked rammed!

I see we’ll be there around the same time as you, we get there a week after you. 😊
