I wonder what time the car park will open? No idea what our plans are. We weren't planning on being there for it opening and were going to skip next year.

no point is staying in the hotel, just go to whatever park the day before, go and eat in the evening and them make your way to HS and start the line

I know what you mean, thought the boats might be full, but then again if the Skyliner is open which I am fairly certain it will be could just nip to International Gateway and use that! (Providing it is running early of course)

Thanks but there's no way I'll be getting in the Skyliner - it would totally freak me out. I'll try the boat and see what happens. If it's too full I'll just skip HS this trip.

I was there for the opening of toy story land which was advertised to open at 8am but a cast member told us a few days prior to it opening they would let guests in from 0600 so we arrived at 0530 and it was quite busy. We got in at 0600 the car park booths were manned but they were waving us all in for free

We used Uber last year to get to HS from french quarter, was so much easier as the car parking/bus stop was chaos. Dread to think what if will be like when GE is opened!

We arrive on 19th September and will be avoiding HS for that very reason. I’m on holiday there is no way I’m getting up that early 😃.
If I was I think about going I would drive from Port Orleans.
