spices in a casserole what do you use ideas please

When cooking a casserole/stew/shepherds pie what sort of spices flavours do you add to it please ?

I use curry frenzy, their web site gives you losds of options for adding spices to casseroles etc and they arent expensive

Paprika is my current craze. And maybe some tumeric and mustard powder depending what I'm going for.

Always add anchovy paste to my stews, casseroles, pasta sauces etc, you only need a little and it does not taste fishy but adds a real depth to the flavour.
We also like heat so I tend to put chilli in everything from a little to a lot depending on what it is

I use jd seasonings , I’m making a bolognese at minute using them, I always used to use jars , I don’t anymore, also tend to add a good dash of Worcester sauce or Henderson’s relish to most dishes I cook from scratch ... but I’m a Sheffield girl we were weaned on Henderson’s

Colman’s and Oxo and that’s it!

If my husband saw me putting spices into food he wouldn’t eat it! Because I use Colman’s he doesn’t realise.
