Alamo return empty option?

Hi all

Which option do I choose to get the car with a full tank and return it empty?
Couldn't find the answer on their site

If doing straight to garage just purchase at the kiosk barrier and check your paper work that's included

Sorry which web site? Alamo themselves or one of the brokers such as Andy at DFCH? Usually given names like "gold" or "platinum".

Doesn't really matter though as you can add fuel service at the barrier as you leave. They will add it to the contract and you'll pay a couple of days after you get home. Alamo are very good for the cost as well - maybe $5 extra on a full tank compared with local gas stations.

If you don't need extra drivers then Gold option is a very expensive tank of fuel! Just asked for the fuel option at the exit barrier. We have done this for years.

I agree with Greyfriers. Don’t go for Gold unless you need three drivers.
We do this every year and just ask at the exit kiosk. They will have a board that will show the return empty per gallon price on the day.

On March 2nd these were the prices.

Prepay $2.38
Don't bring it back full and not pre pay $3.57
Local gas staions $2.35

But there is an airport user fee on top of the $2.38 but hey ho thats about a quid.

The user fee at Miami is 11.11%+ tax and they "guesstimate" the amount of fuel needed, for an int SUV at Miami the pre-pay was quoted as $45. I filled up at a garage about 10 miles from the airport, almost empty, 20 miles left according to the screen, and it cost $29 so a bit more than a quid.

I'm not against pre paying as it once saved me the cost of 3 flights home from Sanford, i mixed up the flight times and arrived back to a very quiet airport with 2 mins to spare before they closed the flight, had i not pre-paid that last fill up would have meant we missed the flight
