Best method to find preferable ADR times?

We booked our ADR's last week but there are a couple where I couldn't get the time I wanted (I booked the nearest).

What is the best method to try and get the times I want? I have set up a ADR alert on Touring plans but as far as I can tell this just checks at 6am each day and won't alert me any earlier to a cancellation.

I try 2/3 a times a day to modify my booking but each time it tells me there's nothing else available.

Is there anything else I can be doing (eg checking at a certain time each day?) or is it just a case of hope & pray I catch a cancellation?

Just hope and pray. As it's first come first served there is no guarantee that times published by other methods would still be available.

We found that we managed to get loads of ADR's that were at first a struggle by toggling with the filter for searching, so switching from an actual time to just 'Evening' and back again - it seemed to bring up loads of new times that way.

Just keep checking , loads will be released at 60 days when people book fastpasses . Touring plans is ok but being a us site you often get alerts in the middle of the night and they’ve gone by morning . You have just under 6 months to find one so should have a good chance . Many can be picked up while you are there as well as loads cancel due to tiredness , weather etc .

I don't think touring plans only searches once a day. However it does seem to find things overnight, presumably because of the time zone and that most guests are American. I have never had much luck with it for that reason, I usually miss the alerts.

I think you have got to just keep looking, people will be changing plans.

Which ADRs are you hoping to change?

With some of the third party Disney Springs restaurants you're better booking on Open Table as there is only limited inventory given to MDE

I use touring plans and they search multiple times a day not just once.
I’ve always had very good luck with them , but you have to be quick once an email comes in.
I have currently just set up for one, as I wanted an earlier breakfast time , fingers crossed

The from the home page go to "Sully's dashboard" and then select WDW reservation finder. Add new request, put your restaurant choice and dates in and then click on the "save" button.
