Hands down the best flights we've ever had were last years Heathrow-Detroit-Orlando, Orlando-Boston-Heathrow with Delta.
They were round with drinks as soon as the seat belt signs were off and the food was surpisingly good. IFE was the best I've ever had on a plane, tons of shows/movies/games etc and the interface is super easy.
Oh, and they have Sweetwater IPA which is my all time favourite beer
I would actively go out of my way to fly with them again.

I would still say like most US carriers they have a quite basic feeling (especially the older planes) - but compared to United and AA they are totally miles ahead.. Never had an issue with them (couple of missed connections at Atlanta but just put on the next plane)

And as mentioned above I have never seen so many drinks on a flight ever every time they gave wine out they just left extra bottles.. Thank goodness for the mickey transport from MCO

The OP may wish to consider the below thread, where it is posted that Delta seems to be cancelling some flights for next year from Amsterdam to Florida (TPA & MCO). Obviously cancellation might not apply to all flights, but such cancellation would possible leave an alternative of LBA-AMS-XXX-MCO (where XXX is another US gateway, eg ATL, DTW).

FWIW, Delta uses a 767 on that route, though I think it's modernised enough to have seatback IFE (have not flown a Delta 767 internationally).

They used to use the 767s on the MAN route to Atlanta The IFE is fine -- the cabins though are showing there age

That's the issue i believe there will be so many disruptions it will affect all airlines. Come on vaccine.
