The key thing will be if the airport pre test becomes acceptable to all countries involved..

There is a lot of pressure on govts everywhere for this to work (mainly due to the size of the airline industry especially in employment numbers).

Personally I suspect (guess) air (with regard to North America) will open up early next year but you will require an airport pre test. There are obvious holes in the pre test system with regard to this virus but I suspect the power of the lobbyist and the need to open up long haul markets will start to become a pressure that cant be held back.

I hope so. My worry is they go the other route and require a vaccine certificate, automatically meaning most of us won't be able to go until 2022. My elderly parents will probably get to go before me 😂

Why would that automatically mean most of us won't be able to go till 2022? Why would your elderly parents get to go before you, and what age do you think is 'elderly'?

Because the vaccine starts to be rolled in out initially in age descending order for most of the population so those under 50 with no underlying conditions could be waiting a while.

Thank you. I'll be 57 next month and have several underlying conditions so will hopefully be on the list by the time I'm due to go to Orlando next September.
