Might be worth calling BA if you have a holiday/flydrive...good deal for Group S

Phoned them this morning to amend our car hire (duration and vehicle type) and they quoted £757 total extra for a Chevrolet Suburban for 3 weeks (includes additional driver) with Avis. The guy I spoke to on the phone was fantastic and also waived the £100 amendment fee.

Best deal I have seen/heard of since booking!

You sure this isn’t a Budget hire rather than Avis? Budget have had the S class at a great price for some time now

No it's definitely Avis, I've just checked to make sure.

They actually said that Avis Class S was coming in cheaper that Budget Class S.

Wow, Avis S was majorly expensive the other day, you definitely bagged a bargain

Standard prices with BA for October, I was getting 22nights with Suburban for under 700 when doing flight and car booking.

Appears to be Group L rather than Group S. L being the Suburban, S being Ford Explorer Size. If you've got Suburban for that price its a great deal
