Thanks for your input guys , I think we have narrowed it down to AKL or WL , just gonna wait for free dining and then make the decision! I’m excited for both !

Not to put a downer on this but I would caution against being absolutely certain that UK guests will be exempt from the charge. As far as I’m aware, we have had nothing official yet from Disney themselves on the UK position. What we’ve had is one travel agent (My Magic Holidays) reporting that based on conversations they’ve had with Disney, that UK guest booking with WDW-UK won’t be affected. However others on the parking charges thread who have had phone calls from Disney have reported that Disney themselves say all bookings after 21 March will be subject to the charge irrespective of country of booking.

I really, really hope that what they travel agent says to be true for UK guests but I’m not taking it as gospel until I see an official statement from Disney themselves. We are looking to book AKL when free dining is hopefully released for August 19 and could really do without a further $240 on top!

Thanks. I saw that but assumed it was based on the info from My Magic Holidays. It’s certainly promising if two sources are saying the same thing. I would however be more comfortable when I see something in writing from Disney themselves. It really doesn’t help that UK Disney page on parking has not been updated to collaborate with what Stu and My Magic Holidays are saying.

Another dibber has had an email from Disney too:

I agree that it needs to be made official on their page, but I'm wondering if they're worried about doing it in case they get a further backlash from US customers?
