Buffet prices - Parks and Hotels (and recommendations)

Hi folks

I've picked up bits and pieces from comments on other posts and also dlpfoodguide

While it's an excellent site, not all reviews are recent.

Would anyone know the current price of buffet meals in:
Plaza Gardens
Agrabah Cafe
Rendez-Vous des Stars
The hotels - Sequoia Lodge, Hotel New York and Newport Bay

I'm thinking of doing the half board meal plan when we're there in December. The Standard (£13) covers the top three, plus Annette's Diner. The Standard Plus (£18) covers these plus hotels, Walts, Lucky Nugget, Silver Spurs Steakhouse, The Steakhouse and Billy Bob's.

Has anyone any recommendations on where to eat with your meal plan voucher? I've only ever done the Plaza Gardens and Annette's, which were both excellent.

I'm aware that the parks close early in winter, so you may only be talking about lunch there. We're staying at the Sequoia Lodge, so an evening buffet may be the ticket, but other suggestions are welcome! (If anyone has ate at the SL, would you recommend it and which restaurant is better?)

We ate our evening meal at the Sequoia Lodge last month. We weren't staying at the hotel Just at DLP for the day.

We booked at City Hall & drove there after the parks had closed.

It was a lovely buffet with lots of choice would def eat there again.

We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge in June 08. We ate in the Hunters Grill and Beavers Creek in the hotel. We marginally preferred the Hunters Grill but both were very good. The Hunters Grill is an all you can eat buffet with a wide choice of salads, hot meals and an excellent desserts buffet. The Beavers Creek is a mix between a buffet and sit down. You help yourself to a starters and desserts buffet (almost identical to the Hunters Grill) and you select your maincourse from a menu, which had the choice of about half a dozen meals), and the waiter serves you at your table.

We also ate at the Plaza Gardens but wasn't very impressed. The hotel was much better. If I remember right the Plaza Gardens was about 26 euros plus drink and the hotel was about 29 euros plus drink. With the half board plan you get a soft drink for free. We paid extra for wine but asked for bottles of water as part of the plan.
