Cafe Mickey Info

Can someone please tell me what kind of things they do for breakfast at Cafe Mickey and also what characters they have there?

I know you can get the breakfast for a reduced price if your a Disney resort guest but is this the same for guests at Davy Crockett Ranch?

Many Thanks

When we went the food was not quite as extensive as Florida but they still had cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, donuts () etc.

The characters we saw were Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Tigger and a foxy sort of thing (I think he's from Pinocchio). Friends we met who went on a different day had Chip & Dale instead of foxy.

We stayed at the Newport Bay and booked it through them.

Looks like you do can get a reduction staying at Davy Crockett - but it does say that you should book for the 2nd sitting (to allow time to get there I guess?)
Have a look here for more info - I know that it still says prices valid to April 2008 - but when I just spoke to someone this morning it was the same price they're quoting for December

We went for breakfast at Cafe Mickey last Tuesday

There was a huge selection of food:
croissants, rolls, sliced bread, pain au choc, danish pastries, fruit, several cheeses, various cold meats, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages etc.

We were at the first sitting (8am) and the characters came out in 2 batches - Friar Tuck, Mickey, Goofy, Prince John, Chip and Dale

We also saw Captain Hook & Mr Smee.

The food was ok normal breakfast fare and the interaction was ok, although there were alot of children wondering from table to table rather than waiting for the characters to come to their table(this was Aug so it was very busy so it might not be like it at other times of the year) but we felt that we got better value for money and better interaction with the characters each time we have been to lucky nugget salon. They come to each table in turn and there didn't seem to be people wondering around quite so much.
