Por preferred room?

What exactly is a preferred room.

Was offered this or a pool view room I think and wasn’t sure what it is lol

Preferred room is nearer the amenities i.e. the main pool/restaurants etc

Preferred rooms are the ones closest to the food court, reception etc. At POR, they're all in Alligator Bayou, so if you're hoping to stay in Magnolia Bend, then don't book a preferred room. View rooms are available in both areas.

Just to add that if you want to guarantee a room with the pull down Murphy bed, then booking a preferred room will get you one, whereas a view one might or might not.

Sorry to jump in on this thread but am I right in thinking the 5th sleeper rooms are all in Alligator Bayou? :-)

I already booked a preferred room without knowing what it was 😂😭

We do have 5 people staying there.
