We did this on our honeymoon. We did 4 nights at pop then 11 in a villa and then 3 nights back at pop...
To be honest, we LOVED staying onsite and loved having the car (while in the villa) so on our next holiday which was sept/oct 10 we stayed onsite with a car. The reason we preferred onsite was because it was so magical, we liked the bubble and the villa was far too big for just the 2 of us - but it was a wedding present and family owned. Best of both worlds. |

If you read trippys - my honeymoon report is in my signature, might give you an idea of the split stay option. We loved having a car so much that we paid through the nose for another car for those last 3 days at pop. lesson learnt.

Second trip to Orlando was 9 days on site followed by a week in a villa on the Gulf Coast. It worked for us. First trip was two villas, one in Orlando and again on the Gulf coast (same villa). It gave us time to wind down after a hectic time in Orlando and on both holidays we actually drove back to Orlando for MNSSHP first year and Discovery Cove the 2nd.
