I would have thought so, as VB is only accessible by bus. The buses went to US and IoA too from RPR - but the boat is much nicer. HRH is really close to US so a walk is really quick.

as you mention you have another day planned at universal, maybe you could also book a night at CBBR, which is much cheaper than HRH and PBH
it does not have express passes, but has Early Entry to VB, and you can WALK to VB from there (need CBBR room key to use that entrance) you could also do that (no EP, but EE and walk to VB) from Aventura hotel. CBBR and Aventura are the 2 only hotels where you can walk to VB (room key required, it's checked by security)all others need to take the bus, as well as offsiters. not the most cost effective way, as you book another hotel night, but if you consider how much you're paying at the Club Levels, to get the express passes included, it might be a solution Edited at 02:55 PM. |

we never get lockers but we stay at CBBR (3 weeks last year, 4 weeks this year) so we only pop into VB for a couple of hours in the morning with EE if you want a lounger, you'll need to enter the park rather early we always go with minimal stuff, only a small backpack with sunscreen and towels from the hotel pool. we leave our shoes, and backpack on the lounger, as well as the towels. Nothing of value, so nothing to worry about. We only bothered with lockers on our very first visit to VB (must be approaching 20 now, lol) and soon decided we would achieve the same result by throwing a $20 bill into the lazy river :p |

I've stayed at HRH and RPR numerous times (we were there in May) and we've always had access from 7.30am on the day of check in. The card you are given for the express passes also gives you access to the Club Lounge.

We do the same, always leave our bags with bell services if we're not going to be back before checkout time on the second day.

Everyone saying about leaving their bags with bell services rather than putting bags in the trunk
Is there a reason? As i was thinking of taking the bags to the car on checkout then when ready off we go. Can see the obvious walking to the car vs hardly any walk with bell services. But then i can see the "hassle" of using bell services to sign stuff in and out after a potential long day. |

That is a very good point
We are changing hotels with one night at RPR and the same the following week at HRH so we were going to leave our main suitcases in the car and just take only essentials (carrier bag with a spare vest for me ) into the Universal hotels to save hassle of lugging everything but think we would rather be safe now as you said! |
