Disney resorts
This is probably too vague a question but i'll give it a go.
I know that they probably vary in price hugely but for 2 adults and 1 child to go in school summer holidays what sort of a price are we looking at? Would be for 2-3 wks. I've also been looking at flights for this July and is £2000 about right? Thanks Cath x |

They have 3 levels of resorts - value, moderate and de luxe
So there are a lot of combinations and factors. If you book as a package with somebody like Virgin you may get a better deal than booking resort separately with Disney and flights with an airline. You'll have to do some research. They do special offers from time to time like 14 nights for the price of 10 (and includes 7 days park tickets free - you have to buy the other 7)so it's worth hunting around. |

I suggest you look at disneyworld.disney.go/wdwi/en_GB/ where you can price up the cost of a hotel. Happy planning!

Hello
We booked a few weeks ago for 2 weeks starting 27th July staying at POFQ. It cost us £2600 for flights, transfers and accomodations. Have then booked tickets and DDP so all in all we are paying about £3950. Have a look on Thomas Cook |

We booked POFQ too direct with Walt Disney Travel Co they gave us the best price for our two weeks in September they may still be doing buy 4 days get 3 free. Ours was for flights and room and tickets and dining plan (we only have to pay for Tips) £3131.88. This price is for two adults and one child age 9, included are airport taxes and resort taxes and an online discount of £137.42. We didn't have the buy 4 nights get three free but did get free quick service dining plan which we have upgraded to the basic plan. It pays to look around and work out the pricing.

About the same
I booked last Nov VA and WDW (POFQ) speratley and for 16 nights from 9th Aug (slightly cheaper dates) and with tickets and DDP came to £3850 - 2A + 1C - So yours is good price - mine was cheapest at time and we both may have found it cheaper but on the other hand we may not! I just could not wait any longer to book!
Have a great time |

I had hunted round and this was by far the cheapest deal I found for what we wanted ie school holidays, onsite accomodation and no need for a car)
The £2600 was just for flights, accommodation and transfers As I said we then chose to add DDP and 14 day ultimate tickets on to our booking and this cost £500 per adult and £280 for our son. I am by no means an expert on disney, this is my first holiday there as an adult. But having had a scout round for flights for our dates the cheapest is an indirect flight for £600 ish, making flights £1800. Hope this all makes sense. |

Thank you.
I was pleased with the price. I'm sure someone else could have done things differently and gone for less, but it suits us and all our needs. I have to say on the Thomas Cook website the Aug dates weren't cheaper when I booked. They had an offer on a free child's place. Strangely too POFQ was just slightly (less than £100) more expensive than the value resorts so I was really pleased I know what you mean about not being able to wait to book. Can't wait to go now. Hubby thinks I'm crackers as all I do is read about disney! Hope you have a fab time when you go |
