'Fairfield Inn' and Virgin

Now it is common knowledge that The Fairfield Inn has changed it's name.

Was really looking forward to this holiday, now I am not so sure.

So... I went to Virgins Website and found a link where you can email your rep direct at the place you are staying.

So, to try and get a bit reassurance, I e mailed the rep in Orlando. Told her how I have been to this hotel before, and really liked the staff etc. etc. Asked if the same amenities would still be available etc. etc.

What I was wanting to hear was that everything is the same etc. etc. etc.

Got a large e mail back tonight. The first paragraph she introduced herself, and asked for my phone no. to ring me back. Then she said ''THE HOTEL SHOULD MAKE YOU HAPPY'' and ''IF THE HOTEL DOES NOT MAKE YOU HAPPY WE WILL''. I then got 12 paragraphs telling me what excursions were available to me and what prices they were. No info at all on the hotel!

Absolutely shocking reply in my opinion.

I am now just going to go and see what the hotel is like.

I will not be touching Virgin with a barge pole again!
