Ba
We have only ever flew with Virgin to Orlando but this time around doing everything through Disney, as all the flights (internally included) are with BA i was wondering what they are like to fly with.

I think you will get lots of different opinions here, my parents love BA but when we flew to Orlando with them we have shocking service and they ran out of food! I will never fly with them again

I rate BA far above Virgin but it is very much down to personal choice, I have flown 3 times with Virgin and was disappointed each time so it is always BA for us regardless of price.

It's all in the price ! We have flown virgin once - no significant flight to report. BA twice (2010 & 2013) the only difference £800.00
Going again in April 2014 and it would have cost at the time of booking £1400 more to fly virgin . No brainer really |

That's crazy how can they run out of food, surely they knew beforehand how many people they were expecting.
I feel that Virgin have let themselves go of late in terms of customer services, infact we were booked up with Virgin but due to customer relations we cancelled and went through Disney. Even with losing the deposit we managed to add in the quick service plan and still come out signicantly cheaper. Thanks for the replies

We flew to Tampa yesterday and it was a good flight, food was good and there was a choice of 3 and we were near back of plane. They were great booking us seats together with special assistance and they had a constant suppl of snacks that my children made great use of!

I agree with Ches9, we go with whoever is cheapest. Up until this year it was VA but for last July and next year we have booked BA as they have been the best price. Personally I prefer the VA planes but BA crew and service!

I honestly don't know but it was the worst flight I have ever been on! The staff were shocking as well as it was around the time they were striking and I think it really affected all BA flights for a while! We went on Virgin next and the difference was unbelieveable. I also think if you shop around you can get Virgin flights for around the same price, we have done each time. We have just booked a flydrive with them for only slightly more than the other carriers.

Tend to go over the Atlantic a couple of times a year , usually BA and never had a bad flight and have nothing but praise for BA.
It comes up on here all the time..so take a look at any of these as well as search around. http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=737979 http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=728947 http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=723258 http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=720464 http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=524275 http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=455466 http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=452475 http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=437306 Personally I'd say go with whichever is cheaper. |
