Are you allowed to take tripods into MK?
We're going to magic kingdom for the after hours party in July and my daughter wants to know if she can take a tripod into the park with her? I told her I'd ask on here as the dibb usually has the answer

That's great thank you. Will have to try it and see if it fits in our bag.

I found this link the other day when I was researching the use of image stabilizers in the parks. My understanding is that as long as they can not be extended they are ok - has anyone 3lse had any experience of using one of these in the park?
If you've not come across one of these before as an example Google "gopro karma grip" (Not the drone!) Sorry OP - I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread !

I'm curious to know if they would allow image stabilisers as that would be good for my go-pro (if we decide to go again next year). Disney are quite vague on their website by just saying "hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices" are not allowed. We ended up taking a monopod with us this time and they questioned it at security but as soon as I told them it was a monopod they were fine. |

I believe stabilizers are fine. If my karma grip handy developed a fault ibwould have taken it it. When I was in epcot yesterday there was a guest with a mobile mounted on a stabilizer and none of the security staff / cast members questioned him.
