It’s in St. Cloud which is about a 45 min drive (about the same as wild Florida) it’s a privately run animal sanctuary and they only do pre-booked individual tours so it’s very personalised. They have sloths, baby alligators, marmosets, farm animals, capybaras, lemurs, a skunk with no scent and various pythons and reptiles to name a few. It really is a wonderful place. They charge $40 per person and the tour lasts for about 90 minutes. It is amazing

Thank you so much for this. My 13 year old wants to be a zoologist and loves anything to do with animals and I was thinking of the sloth encounter at wild Florida but think she would love this a little bit more!

Amazing animals Inc, is run by one of the keepers from wild Florida. She was amazing when we visited, really friendly. Probably the 4 of us were there about an hour.
Wild Florida we find to be a longer day, lots of animals to see, we have done all the animal interactions there, the sloths are great, no holding, just feeding and stroking. The lemurs were really good fun, got to hand feed them, and they were jumping all over us (don’t think they were supposed to). They kept trying to steal my hair clip The porcupines were adorable, greedy but adorable. Both places are fun, just depends what you want out of your day 🤷 Make sure you leave in plenty of time, as there’s quite a few road works down the 192 on the way there. Which ever one you decide to go to, you’ll have an amazing day. |
