Shopping for Halloween costumes

We will be going to celebration on Halloween and I thought my kids would enjoy buying costumes over there before we go, has anyone done this?, I was thinking of going shopping for them in the morning then heading to celebration in the afternoon, do you think there would be plenty left or should I get them earlier in the week?

Yes, lots of choice, whole aisle just of costumes. We also went to Celebration on Halloween, and it was very warm whilst the sun is up, but can drop cold once it’s dark around 7pm ish.

I don’t know if you’ve been before, but it’s also a lot of walking, so we all wore trainers, and the kids enjoyed wearing lots of glow sticks. We started early, around 5pm, the homeowners were incredibly friendly and loved to chat. By the time we were ready to leave around 9ish there were still loads of cars still trying to get into Celebration and people just starting to trick or treat but a lot of homes had run out of sweets. It took us around 40 minutes just to get out of Celebration town centre.

We had a fantastic time, you will enjoy it.

We did this too. We had our costumes from home, but they had plenty of awesome ones in Target.
We were slightly concerned the homeowners might be annoyed with a bunch of strangers turning up, but they clearly are used to it because they go to town. I would so love to go again one day.
