Well, it depends. If you only wanted to do 5 days at Disney then you could save yourself nearly £80 per person (using my example). There's no point buying a 14-day ticket if the 5-day base ticket is all you need. However, it's not like a 5 day ticket is less than half the price of the 14-day ticket; there is a saving but it isn't a huge saving.
The general rule of thumb I have is that if you want to spend more than 7-days at Disney then get a 14-day ticket. And the more you use the 14-day ticket the more sense it makes financially (eg. using all 14 days means it costs £28 a day, which doesn't seem too bad).

I will be looking for 21 day Ultimate Tickets for 2020 too. Orlando Attraction Tickets are marginally cheaper than Disney Direct at the moment.
