Need to protect canvas bag from getting dirty.

I have a new canvas bag in white with a few dark blue stripes. I need to be able to keep it clean as it is probably going on to the floor of a coach on our holidays. I need a recommendation for a way of keeping it clean which I assume will be by spraying something on it. All recommendations gratefully received please.

Is it small enough to put in a black bin bag while it's on the floor? That's what I do with bags I don't want to get dirty.

I use this on canvas shoes

amazon/Scotchgard-...ch+guard+spray

But I would also do what andybear suggested.
