Next Email

Anyone else had an email from Next saying that their Bank details have changed? Assume this is a scam?

Log on to your account to check and change your password, obviously not through the email. 99.99% sure it will be yet another scam doing the rounds.

I've not had one. I would do the same as above. Log on through your account and check details.

I’ve recieved the email and didn’t even think it may be a scam . So just checked my account not via the link in the email and it looks like it’s legit. The account details are the same as the email

Definitely not a scam - I rang my bank today and next have already amended the details with them to the ones quoted in the e-mail 👍

I haven’t had the email yet but I think maybe I read the post incorrectly. I was thinking the email was saying that the customers bank details had changed. I take it that it is Next’s that have changed.

Yep I have had that email too and double checked it. It all seems ok and real. I'm surprised that given the current climate they didn't send something else separately warning customers!

I read it that way round as well! Yes I think it's forwarning people, I'm assuming people who have direct debits. I pay on PayPal so might not get it.

I go the email today. If you log into your account and ways to pay, the new account number and sort code are on there so definitely legit but I can understand people being suspicious.
