Have I been ripped off ? Smashed Mobile Screen
I broke the screen of my Mobile Samsung J6 a few weeks ago walking the dogs. I was going to leave it but its splintered and I got glass in my finger.
We went to our usual phone shop and they quoted £120 ! I asked a couple of the other shops and it was nearly the same ? Is that the normal price... ish ? I did get it done in the end, but wow...… no wonder there is so many of these shops. xx

Do you have phone insurance? Sometimes it works out cheaper to pay the excess.

Not sure I would be brave enough but you can buy a screen repair kit off amazon and do it yourself by following a YouTube video

I have a Nationwide Flexplus account £13 a month but you get phone insurance for all the family as well as other "perks " £25 for a smashed screen

A tale of caution if I may.
My DD smashed the glass of her iPhone and I cost he £50 to get it replaced and she thought that was a bargain Except they didn't use the same quality glass and when she dropped it (with little drop) and it shattered Sadly you get what you pay for

DS knocked mine out of my hand at Christmas and smashed it. I have never broken a phone before!
I bought one of those tempered glass screen protectors to keep it together. I’m far too tight to pay for a new one!
