Anyone been to Riga?

Have any Dibbers been to Riga before?

Would it be worth visiting for a few days as a city break?

Interested to hear what its like.

We went on a weekend last February with friends. Great fun, not masses to see but we did a great walking tour, really interesting to hear about the history of the place.
There are some great bars Easy Beer and Easy Wine basically pay by the glass was good fun. They love karaoke there and we had a really good night in the Funny Fox singing really badly.
There’s an amazing indoor market that goes on forever all sorts of fresh food lots of pickled items!

The Skyline bar for cocktails was lovely great views of the city at sunset after a day out walking. I’d recommend it.
