Have booked flight and car with BA just paid deposit. If we cancel can we transfer what we paid for the deposit towards hotel or car hire rather than lose it? We looking at going earlier than planned and for longer but only if we don't lose too much cancelling or changing the flights.

Cancelling I think you would loose any deposit, you could maybe amend but this also has fees, best to call ba and see, you might get a generous agent that may allow out with the norm!

changes are 150pp... so expensive, probably better to lose deposit and re book
