Breakfast was Rice Krispies and milk with 1/2 banana. Lunch is salad with babybel light and croutons. On a training course at work and it’s boring so have had some popchips to tide me over, so 544 calories in all so far, pasta for dinner and then an hours swimming tonight 😁

Hi all. I have been calorie counting for the last 2 weeks and my fitbit tells me how many I am burning. I have been eating less than is going out but still really struggling to lose this few pounds I need to get rid off. Aside from 1 day last weekend I have been under or the same in and out.

Finding it difficult to stay motivated!

Started calorie counting on Sunday. Aiming for 1400 cals per day. So far have come in just under, so working well. Having followed SW for donkeys years with limited success recently it’s nice to be able to eat what I want within the calorie limit.

Good luck everyone.
I know I am a man, but some of these daily calorie counts seem unhealthily low to me

I think some people are doing a fasting diet where you eat very few calories for a couple of days a week. I’m pretty rubbish when it comes to eating properly but I think they say 1200 calories is fine for a steady weight loss of 1-2lb a week.

I’m on an 800 calorie a day blood sugar diet, approved by my doctor as I am pre diabetic. I need to stay on it for 8 weeks and then have my levels tested again. It’s tough, but there are loads of veggies allowed. It’s surprising how quickly you adjust.
See here for more details if you fancy a go!

Are you eating your exercise calories? When I lost the weight, I ate 1200 calories a day but didn't eat any additional exercise calories except at the weekend when I had wine. I lost 1 or 2 pounds every week by doing that.
