Organising photo back ups while away?
Following a long discussion that has not yet reached a conclusion, I'm turning to the dibb for advice!
We will be taking one DSLR and 3 android phones ... ideally we'd like to back the photos up to one place that could merge the photos into daily folders. What is the easiest way to do this without the inevitable backing up of entire camera rolls each time? One drive sharing is possible, but I've got limited storage. |

I like Google Photos If you all login to the same account then all 3 phones will automatically back up to the same folders.
You can then also put the auto uploader in your laptop for your DSLR. If you save it at ‘high quality’ rather than full quality it’s free and unlimited There is some quality loss but as a backup I think it’s acceptable as the quality is still quite high. |

For the DSLR. I still use Picasa which is discontinued but findable.
You can either import Abd then delete the card. Or leave them on the card and it remembers which have already imported and ignores them the second time. |

Agree with Bev about Google photos. Also, if you're taking a DSLR that doesn't have online capabilities, you should be able to get an OTG cable to connect it to your phone and upload the pics from that as well.

Thank you ... I'll look at all accessing Google photos then. I can link DSLR to internet via a tablet ... so all can go to the same place.

on a related note, you can get this for £27.99 at the moment - just click the promotion message next to the price, and redeem the voucher code. it lets you back up an sd card to a usb stick (or hard drive) as well as providing wireless storage and battery charging facilities!
