things people say (just for fun)
I'm sure we all know someone who says something that we know can't be true ...
OH some times says "I'm going to look for a photo - I will only be gone 5 minutes"...2 hours later browsing memory lane and she still hasn't found it. Another was my late mother who would say "I will be ready in a minute" and then wonders why we are late ! Come on ...share yours - just for fun!

My husband's favourite is "it'll only take a second" ... HA! Second what?!? Millennium? He takes forever to do anything... 45mins in publix to get some milk for example!

My 3 teens to any request "I'll do it later " code for I know it will annoy you so you will do it for me 😂
We are renovating our house and DH hubby tells me I say "that will only takes 5 minutes" to every job I get him to do. He however keeps underestimating and if I hear "that'll be enough" one more time I might bop him. It never is, he calls it thrifty I call it tight |
