Mobile Help/Advice Please

I've just picked up a voicemail from a potential client and they are asking for references x2. (I have a holiday home management business)

I 100% get why they are asking for references but I am wondering how it fits into data protection of my clients.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense my mind is in a bit of a muddle today.

tia 😊

You get the referees permission first, as with any reference request.

Thats what I was thinking thanks very much Claudette 🤩 I am thinking I will email each client then I will have a paper copy of consent.

Hi Minnie, does the reference have to be from one of your clients? Can't it be from a respected member of the community?

Hi Loobylou, yeah it was x2 clients they wanted. I suspect they have already asked people in our village for a personal vouch for me.
