Booking DLP

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.
My DHs Auntie wants to book DLP for herself, her 2 DDs and their 3 children for December. Shes had a price for £1200 for 3 nights, but this seems a bit steep to me. I've never been before so can anyone tell me if this is too much and if it is, what is the best way to book it?
Thanks for any help you can give,
Karen

if trying this yo will have to do 2 bookings. as is one booking per room. sequoia lodge has 2 double beds per room, and for 2 adults 2 children for 3 nights from 14dec is £468. other room with 1 adult 1 child is £372.

so £840 for rooms and tickets.

as for travel depends how you wanna get there.

We've got 4 nights at Santa Fe for two adults, two kids age 4 & 5 and a toddler aged 1, for £350. I know it's not one of the best hotels but that includes a 5 day hopper ticket for us all too. Booked it through Disney land Paris website. We go 17th of December. We also got flights from Newcastle to Charles De Gaulle for £95 each return.

We booked our Jan 09 trip through DLP flights and all. Flights were not cheapest as they use Air France, but much better selection of times compared to the low cost airlines. We're paying £772 for 3 nights at Seq Lodge , Lake view room, transfers, park entry etc and half board plus option and flights for 2 adults and one child who will be 2 and a half. Ok by me, but could have had it a bit cheaper if booked with Easyjet or Flybe but the flight times weren't as good.

The DLP site is the best place to start. Which hotel was she looking at? The advantage of staying on site is that you get park hopper tickets for everyday included. You also get extra magic hours, but there are not that many rides open early. If you are planning to go over or near Christmas you will pay premium prices. Hope that helps.

We flew from Cardiff as we were staying with my in-laws in Llantwit major. You can only use Flybe (cheapy airline) to fly to Paris but they were ok no real complaints. It could help with the overall cost.

When we've been in Nov 06 and Jan 08, we booked direct through their website.

However, Ive been looking for this December and for 4 days/3 nights starting Dec 30th staying at the Santa Fe with Euro tunnel and driving over it came out at £700. If we stay offsite (about 2 miles away) and buy tickets through theme park tickets direct the whole 4 days cost £450 so a big saving. I found loads of hotels through moneysupermarket . com and booking everything seperately.

Hope that helps.

We book room/tickets through the main website and fly with EasyJet. Price sounds normal to me.
