Booking via other countries sites - still ok?

I've done this myself before but I just wanted to double check it's still ok to do this and that Brexit hasn't changed anything? I'm not aware that it has but just wanted to be sure before I go ahead and book for next year (German, Spanish sites etc have much better details for next Easter).

I thought I would resurrect an old thread that had no replies on it since it asks my exact question.
I have a DLP reservation for the end of September which has gone down in price since I booked it (sadly no free dining/nights etc. but still cheaper)
I have spoken to DLP on webchat and they have suggested that the easiest way, at the moment, to take advantage of the lower price is to use the Zen guarantee to cancel the existing booking and make a new one.
Since that was the suggestion I started looking around the other countries to see their prices and it seems that all of the Euro based pricing is the same and sufficiently cheaper than the new GBP price for me to be comfortable that even with any potential currency fluctuations we will still be better off (I have a fee free credit card for foreign transactions).
So, I thought I may as well book with the Irish site, so that everything is in English.

But I would like to know if anyone has an answer to OPs question before I proceed

TIA

David

How do you even get to the Irish site?

I would imagine that you need to use a VPN, and I assume the Irish site domain ends .ie? Never tried myself, but if considerably cheaper then definitely worth doing. Brexit should theoretically have no impact on doing this as far as I know.

In the top left hand corner there is a drop down menu .i think it’s the flag you click on which changes the site to whichever country/nationality
I tried this last night and one of my bookings does indeed come up about £150 cheaper .i may change it but I haven’t ever booked via another countries site before! I know lots do.
Incidentally the Irish site worked out cheaper than any of the others I tried

I’ve just checked on the Irish site too. Ours is £300 cheaper plus payment is due 10 days before travel as opposed to 60 days before on the UK site !
I’d love to book this.

I've booked through other language sites. Your paperwork is in that language, but other than that no difference. Obviously if you don't pay right away the total can change cos of exchange rates, but also, most payment cards charge a fee, so make sure your card doesn't. I have a credit card that has no foreign transaction fees, and also revolut, so I just put the money on there and paid when I did it.

I booked through the Dutch site for 4 nights in Marvel Hotel 3rd to 7th April and it was £500 cheaper than UK site. The date for paying final balance is also much later too- a couple of weeks before going. Everything is in Dutch but you can get your phone to automatically change it to English or use Google translate.

Hi
On our last trip, I booked via the german site after checking the price on various different countries and that was the best price, it also included half board and hotel breakfast when the uk site didn't.
I just called and said I wanted to book the german offer and it was no problem, same price as the website and used my halifax clarity card so no foreign transaction fee. Option to pay in full or deposit.
