August Disney questions
Have a few questions which i'm hoping someone may know the answers to, to help us decide if we should still hopefully go or cancel Disney for Aug.
* Has there been any mention of when the 2 waterparks will re-open? * Booking your day at a park - are onsite guests guaranteed to visit a park each day? * The booking system - any info on it yet? * In the parks - is it a mad free for all to get on rides etc or a system going to be in place? * Resort pools open? In particular POFQ as that's where we're booked * Might be completely wrong, but did i see something about parking is free at the resorts? Thanks for any info and appreciate some answers may not be with us yet. I'm so busy at the moment I can't keep up on here so thought i'd ask my questions this way. |

hi guys,
fingers crossed your holiday goes ahead, im due end of sept and got everything crossed. hopefully i have answered some of the questions below. others maybe able to go into further detail to help cheers nick * Has there been any mention of when the 2 water parks will re-open?... No, im sure they will be tho as universals volcano bay is operating. they are probably just not announcing it yet to see how universal get on with it. * Booking your day at a park - are onsite guests guaranteed to visit a park each day? ... yes and no, if you have paid for tickets then yes they have said hotel guests will get priority to book parks. If you have not paid for your tickets by now then you will not get priority and believe ticket sales have ceased for a while. * The booking system - any info on it yet?... no, some people have speculated based on the hong kong booking system. i dont think its fair away tho. * In the parks - is it a mad free for all to get on rides etc or a system going to be in place?... possibly both, there is talk of virtual queue where u use your phone to book a spot and just stand by queues with social distancing. nothing 100% confirmed yet either. * Resort pools open? In particular POFQ as that's where we're booked... i believe they will be once the resort announces it is reopening as i think its just mainly DVS resorts to begin with. by august you should be good hopefully. * Might be completely wrong, but did i see something about parking is free at the resorts?... no believe this has changed and there is a per day fee now. best to check disney website for this. hope this helps you guys. i think most people are in the same boat wanting to know the same answers to most of your questions. have fun

On the Disney Website if you look up the opening times of the parks it shows Blizzard Beach shut but Thyphoon Lagoon has opening times in September and October, really hoping it is open.
