Deposit not paid!

Dear Dibbers,

I'm supposed to be going to Disneyland Paris for the weekend on December 7th. The balance of my payment was due on the 8th October, I'm on holiday in Croatia where I've had very limited access to wifi and I've just realised today that I haven't paid on time (this is so unlike me, I'm mad with myself)! I'm waiting for them to open the phone lines now but does anyone know if my booking will have been cancelled by now? I wondered if there was a few days grace period to allow payments to reach them?

Thanks in advance,
Tim.

I cant help with the grace period but have you checked the money hasnt been taken? Disney tend to inform you that the card you paid deposit with will be used for the full payment automatically unless they are rung up before and instructed otherwise. At least this is what Ive always been told. I may be wrong but perhaps theyve already taken your payment?

Good luck, I'm sure I read on this forum or another that DLP cancelled their booking because payment wasn't made but were then able to reinstate it at the original price so hopefully if is cancelled they can do this for you! let us know how you get on.

I really hope you get/got it sorted.

On a slightly related note, we're not going until December 13th and our payment was due 4 days earlier than yours. Very strange!

I was told by a disney employee when I booked that I should be ok paying a day late. The payment day for me is on a Thursday and I get paid on the Friday. She basically said not to worry about it and all would be fine.

I can't say for sure on a longer amount of days though.
