Getting to DLP with a broken elbow
Hi everyone
We fly into CDG terminal 3 the week after next. I broke my elbow last week so need to be wary of people bumping into me. I don't have a cast but I do have a sling. We were going to buy tgv tickets when we arrived but now I'm not sure if it will be safer and less hassle to get a shuttle or car service. I'll be with dh. and ds (9) who will have to sort out a large case and 2 smaller bags between them. We are staying at Sequoia Lodge. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks

All I would say is that the TGV is only 10 minutes. If it were me I go via the TGV if the other family members were taking care of all the suit cases etc as the journey would be over in no time. Going by car you'd have to get yourself in it, have to wear a seat belt i'd suspect too. get yourself out etc. Would you be able to sit in the front or would you all be in the back.?
It's a hard one, but i'd go TGV. |

I would also say TGV, from my experience once you are out of baggage reclaim, all the walkways to the station and the actual waiting area have a lot of room to move about. the TGV assigns specific seats so you shouldn't have to worry about having push past to get on the train, i would just hang back and get on when the majority of people have boarded, and as aj2703 said, the journey is only 10 mins so you will be on and off in no time.

For TGV you might land in a different terminal and have to take the shuttle bus. Also if you wait till you get there to book tickets they will be very expensive. When we tried this we could not get the machine to take our cards and waited over an hour in a queue for the counter.
Yes the journey is 10 min once you are on the train, but you then have to get to the hotel. We booked RS Transports for 38 Euros (one way two adults). Door to door, great service, 40 minute journey.
