Here now - bad cold :-(

Can anyone recommend anything to take. It started off as a bad cough but now whole body aches but I am sure it’s from all the coughing. Should be out enjoying ourselves but I’m in bed feeling miserable. I got Mucinex liquid from Walgreens but not really helping.. thank you in advance.

Sorry you aren't feeling well DayQuil and NyQuil are popular here, it might be worth trying those?

Hope you are feeling better soon

Mucinex Night and Day liquid medicine! It’s a godsend!

It’s two bottles... one blue and one red I think. Expensive but literally saved me on our first trip and had me better with the first couple of doses

Turns out it’s yellow and blue bottles, lol. This is it

Rest, sleep and honey and hot water plus paracetamol. Really hope you get better soon. Oh plus empty rubbish/clean room a few times a day. Shower at least x 2 per day. get lots of fresh air into the room and change the sheets x1 per day and use fresh towels each time you shower.

Think that's it 🙃

I found the Wal-Mart own brand day and night cold capsules worked well.
Might be rest for a day or 2 though to get your energy back.
Good luck

I tried the Walgreens flu capsules, day-night. They cleared it up a treat. Good luck 😊

Hope you get better soon. Nothing worse than being ill on holiday. Sods law, there are 52 weeks in a year why does it happen the 2/3 weeks you are away ? ! Nsaids work for me with the headachy, achey body sweaty thing.

Wine. Job done

Hope you feel better soon. I have picked up the odd cold more so in November but find they tend to be very short lived unlike the U.K. Where they linger for 2 weeks.
