Manchester airport drop off help

Ds and his girlfriend are flying out tomorrow night and it’s their first time flying alone . We wanted to make sure they are checked in properly etc so would like to go to the check in desk with them . I know it’s all changed Re parking and drop off so can anyone reassure me we can still do this and where do we park. They are flying to Oz from T1.

You can still park up in the short stay, it's actually easy to do, going at cant drop off and drive off any more!

On the other hand, just read they are going to Oz. Im sure if they are capable of travelling so far and getting around, they will be ok checking themselves in! Not judging as I would be the same but just an observation!

It’s more for us really , they are only 18 so both of us mums want to make sure they have all boarding cards etc and instructions

Park at the t1 arrivals short stay and go into the terminal with them.

It's expensive at £7 for first hour or £10 for 2 but you can't put a price on happiness 😂
