Yes I saw it. I may be wishing I could afford it next week. Apparently today in DLP has been super rammed !

I read somewhere ( can’t remember where though !) that if you are staying at a Disney hotel you can buy the unlimited access pass for the same price as the ultimate fastpass. To be fair if that is the case for a couple going at a very busy time it is quite a good deal. It is the slippery slope though and will probably be tested with a view to being introduced world wide eventually. I think they are only selling a set amount of the passes per day.

You used to be able to buy a VIP fastpass years ago, think it was about 60 Euros.

Not something we would ever do. I suppose if you are there at a super busy time and it is your only visit (and you are offsite) then it might be worth it.

If you are onsite you get EMT so can do Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo, Teacups, Carousel, Buzz, Hyperspace Mountain and Orbitron, all before the crowds arrive. That saves you getting 3 FPs. Or in Studios you can do Ratatouille, R&RC and maybe even Crush - saving you 2 FPs.

We find that if we are onsite, the only FPs which are really a struggle are BTMR and (previously) Ratatouille. All the others are easily grabbed.

I’m not a fan of that at all. And i think it’s very expensive. O hope they don’t roll this out worldwide.

Disneyland in Anaheim has something similar. As, of course, does Universal, and most theme parks in the UK.

I would think at DLP it will be very much the minority option. There are all sorts of things you can buy if you have money to throw around - VIP spots for Illuminations, for instance. Most people just don't bother.

We used maxpass in Anaheim, it was $10 a day each which was worth it as it also included photopass & they do actually have photographers! unlike Paris!

I wouldn't pay these prices for fastpass in Paris, but I wouldn't go when its really busy.

Why? It isn’t new. They used to sell a VIP fast pass for 60 Euros years back. Even at WDW you can pay for special packages, tours, ‘morning magic’ entry when the parks are closed to others, or even a VIP guide and front of line access.

The vast majority of people won’t bother. And it certainly isn’t essential.

That is correct, its confirmed on the Fastpass section of the DLP website.

I don't have a problem with it to be honest. The free option is still there. My girlfriend and I only go to DLP together once a year, and this year due to other reasons we have to go for a weekend in December. I'm expecting it to be very busy so am considering buying this. It'll allow us to hit up the rides with minimal fuss which gives plenty of time to watch shows, meet characters etc.

The prices are season dependent too. So for when I’m going in February it’s €45 per day per person for the 3 ride option and €90 per day for the all ride one use ticket

I say all rides, it’s actually only 9
One €45 package is Ratatouille, Peter Pan and Buzz. The other is Space Mountain, Tower of Terror and Rock’n’Roller coaster

The €90 pack is those 6 plus Big thunder, Star Tours and Indiana Jones

So you’re either paying €15 per fastpass or €10. That’s a bit too expensive for me

And I suggest most people, which is why I don’t think it’ll have a huge impact on queues etc
