Adding to the savings pot
I need to do a car boot sale because I have a load of stuff that just needs to go. I hate doing them partly because I don't know what to charge, I don't want to charge too much that it doesn't sell , or too little that I don't make anything.
All the money raised is going in the Disney fund for next year So can any of you boot sale lovers out there give me some ideas of how much? Usual stuff ... books baby clothes toys cushions games that sort of stuff |

Hubby is a hoarder! When we downsized to a bungalow I had a good huck out and did several tip trips while he was at work. He hasn't missed anything yet! When we got here we did a garage sale. Good luck doing your car boot.

Husband did one yesterday and made just over £300. Mainly just tat. People want to pay next to nothing for clothes, toys go well and mobile phones. When you get there other traders will see you are new and will try to buy your stuff when you are still setting up to sell on their stalls so watch for this. Clothes go better if they are on hangers. Maybe put the better stuff on a facebook selling page.
You could go to the car boot sale the week before to check other sellers prices. Our car boot money always goes in the holiday fund. Husband usually does 2 a year and at least it keeps the house tidy. You really wouldn't believe the stuff people will buy ! |

I think as long as you know and are aware then u ll be ok.
My son is a biker. He has had about 10 phones he managed to drop ride over etc. So i brought him a "disposable" cheap old phone which at 19 apparently make him look like a dealer. So yeah now im aware lol |
