Hi could anyone tell me if the characters are available till the very end of the party?

No, they will finish before then, the rides are open until the death but meet & greet wise it wouldn't be as easy to handle the queues- especially with someone like Jack & Sally whose queue will remain 90-120 all night

You might get an improtu meet and greet pop up after the parade but the character lines ones they often close off around 9-10 pm as they are so long . We met reindeer from the mvmcp and the grave diggers from mnsshp but I won’t queue for any others as the lines are crazy and paying $500 to meet a character or two would be madness to us. It’s all about the walk on rides for us .

I've been able to meet Mickey very near the end of the party, got in line at like 11.30pm and was out well in time for the last Hocus Pocus show.

Unlike with rides, if a character is meeting until say 11pm they will finish meeting close to that time. That means if there's an hour worth of people in line at 10pm they'll close the line for that character.

Many of the characters at the Halloween party are rare and only meet at the parties. This means the lines can get very long to meet them. You can mitigate this by getting in line for some of the more popular ones before the party begins (Jack and Sally and the Dwarfs are the key ones for this). This means you'd waste less party time in character lines.
