Top Loader Washers... Can I use Pods or Tablets?
Hello.
I plan to wash some clothes when out in Florida using the hotels top loader washing machine and dryers. Because my husband and step daughter have really sensitive skin when it comes to washing powders, I can literally only use the Ariel pods or the Aldi Non-bio washing tablets... I’m hearing conflicting things on various forums saying the washers wont dissolve the tablets or pods properly... so what’s best to use (bearing in mind, I can’t use anything else on their skin... we’ve tried). Also stupid question, I’m guessing I can use my usual tumble dryer sheets? Anything else I need to know?

Hi
Yes you can as long as it’s on a high temperature otherwise it doesn’t dissolve completely and the liquid can the stain the clothes.

I take the tablets crumble them a littlle and spread them over the clothing. Never had any problems. Out of the dryer onto hangers hay ho no ironing.

.u can crumble the tablets but they have to go in before the clothes not on the top. This is because the washing cycles are generally around the half an hour mark and it makes sure that the powder is fully dissolved and doesn't leave white marks on your clothes.

I've put pods in too and swished them around to dissolve before the clothes go in. However At POFQ they were not top loaders so this wouldn't be an option,

Always just put them in the washer with cloths and never had a problem, not had to dissolve them first never had to put them in first.
Used Tide pods purchased when there
