I think so, the store was really interesting and I recall DS being fascinated by some of the stories!

If your children like to hear genuine period stories and enjoy that sense of yesteryear, they will absolutely love it. The jail is brilliant and the store is also good fun (and not a long visit anyway).

We also have a video about it from earlier this year:

Hi Tweety1. I can try posting it again, but you should also be able to find it on our main YT page, (it's the 4th video along).

OK, I've tried to re-post the video. It should work now.

As regards other must-sees, the Castillo de San Marco is a great place to visit (especially for the cannon-firing display) and we also like the Whetstone Chocolate Factory (and tasting tour!). The Fountain of Youth is one of the obvious places to visit, but there's also the Historic Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, as well as St George Street, which is full of interesting shops and curiosities. Realistically you need at least 2 full days to see most of it.

Thx Simon. Do you pay to get into Castillo de San Marco and where could I find the schedule for the cannon firing? I couldn’t find the information on the website

Yes, there is a $15 fee per person for the Castillo (under 16s get in free with an adult), and the cannon firing is usually every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the year at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., and at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m.
