WOW Thank you so much for this list Simon. I really appreciate the time it took for you to put it together
We have visited the 3 'Winters' and really enjoyed them. There is so much more to Orlando and we are looking forward to discovering a few more places this time. As Simon said - if anyone else has any gems to add to the thread, it is all very much appreciated xx |

Has anyone visited Pinecraft the Armish Community in Sarasota?
No idea why just always been fascinated by the Armish so thought it'd be good to drop by especially as we'll be en route to Venice. Thanks

It's a small group of housing adjecent to the Amish restaurant Yoder's. If you visit in winter during the day you may see them out and about on their three wheel bikes. Yoder's market next to the restaurant is worth a visit as the restaurant.
Majority of the residents are snowbirds from Ohio etc.

Great suggestions.
I fancy going to Jacksonville but only because I'm obsessed with the good place and Jacksonville is a running joke in the show

Jacksonville is a surprisingly happening and attractive city these days, especially along the riverfront, and the restaurant scene is especially good. The San Marco district is the historic area, but there's also good shopping and dining in artsy Riverside & Avondale, and Downtown. River City Brewing Company is a great dining spot in Downtown.
