Availability for longer stays if renting points?

We’ve rented points before but not for more than 5 nights.

I’m wondering how easy it is to get longer stays

We’d be looking for 7 nights in May and 14 in August.

Our past bookings have been made at 11 months as we wanted resorts that were supposedly hard to get, Aulani, Grand Californian and Grand Floridian.

I’m prepared to book at 11 months again, but not sure if we’d still struggle with availability of rooms for longer stays, and points from home members.

We’d be looking at AKL for May and maybe CC for August.

Would love to hear people’s experiences to help us decide what to do.

Do you mean the potential of actually getting a long stay or the potential of renting a large number of Points?

I would think Dave's would have no problems getting you what you need, even if they have to do 2 separate bookings, butt ended with Points from different people.

We do stays of up to 28 nights no problems at all albeit we own in SSR that has a huge inventory.

Copper Creek may be difficult due to the fact it's small. AKL will be easy.
